As a Strategic Data Analyst you will work closely with Strategic Operations Leads and business stakeholders in functions like Growth, Marketing, Sales and Customer to analyse data, develop recommendations, and implement and assess initiatives that create value for the company and it’s customers.

You will combine multiple data sources to analyse markets and customers, identify target customers, define key metrics, analyse performance, decompose business drivers and levers, and investigate factors impacting organisational success. You will also support and optimise program operations, finding ways to continuously improve operational processes while advocating for a better customer experience.

Example work could include partnering with stakeholders to develop a new pricing package for a target market, deep diving into customer reservation trends, or deploying product experiment frameworks to test hypotheses in a data-driven way. You will help drive continuous iteration, experimentation, and improvement.

● You have 2+ years of work experience in an analytical role (e.g. business analysis, consulting, data analysis, operations analysis), ideally working closely with business teams

● You are experienced with SQL and have a desire to develop new technical skills and expertise

● You enjoy decomposing business drivers and levers, touching the bottom of the ocean with the data, learning new analytical methods / techniques, using first principles thinking,

and consistently delivering great results

● You are a self starter with high energy and a proven ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done

● You have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complicated technical analysis into compelling narratives that can be used to influence senior leaders

● Bonus: You have experience with Salesforce / Intercom / Heap / Alteryx / Tableau / Google Analytics or a willingness to learn new tools

● Bonus #2: You have experience working with digital / online products or a passion to get into the tech sector

Responsibilities;

●  Partnering with functional and program teams to deliver higher performance and operational efficiency, through an analytical lens

●  Merging and manipulating data from multiple systems and applying smart cuts in order to come up with optimal segmentations for each initiative and profound insights on the business

●  Testing new segmentations, messagings, channels to pursue better outcomes

●  Analysing performance and impact of specific programs, campaigns, and initiatives to empower a culture of experimentation, efficiency, and effectiveness

●  Monitoring key metrics to identify trends and proactively engaging business partners to improve speed and effectiveness of decision-making using data

●  Developing and maintaining regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to summarise performance and highlight opportunities / challenges, e.g. customer reservations or

booking engine conversion

●  Partnering with the Enterprise Ops team and BI team to define new data requirements and ensure they are accurately tracked in relevant systems and tools

●  Using tools like SQL, SFDC, Tableau, Excel and whatever else you will need to gather and analyse data to develop insights and inform decisions
